Every guide here is written from the same starting point: you have your login email, you have a device in front of you, and you want channels playing. They name the app to install, the four fields to fill in, and the setting that is wrong by default on that particular hardware.
Devices differ more than people expect. An Amazon Fire TV Stick sideloads a player in about five minutes. Roku will not, which is why the Roku route exists as its own guide rather than a paragraph inside a general one. Apple and Android each want a different app, and a MAG box wants your MAC address instead of a username.
If your device is not covered yet, the Setup Guides page lists the ones that are, and the contact page reaches a person who will walk you through yours.
